A Beautiful Baby Bump

Disclaimer: I am not a professional photographer (not even close) and I didn't edit these pictures at all....but I kind of feel like they didn't even need it.  This couple, Cassi and Cory, are perfect just the way they are, no editing needed!!  I had so much fun taking these pictures and I'm so happy I got to share in this special moment with them.  A big thank you to my trusty assistant, Harlie!  She was so much fun and a big help.  Love ya Har!  I wish I would have done this with both of my boys (granted neither of them stayed on the inside long enough even if I wanted to)!  Sweet baby Harlo, I can't wait to meet you, and your two little Phillips cousins are impatiently waiting too!  Colter can't wait to shower you in kisses!  You are already SO loved.

Forsyth Fair 2014

Every year over Joey's birthday weekend, we head to his parents house for a BBQ, the fair, and concert. My parents try to make it to the concert each year, this was one of those years.  It's always so nice to have everyone together. This year was Charlie Daniels Band and for a 77 year old man, he could still play his fiddle!  It was so fun, I didn't stop smiling the whole time (and teared up when he recited the Pledge of Allegiance).  We missed  last year because Levi had just gotten out of the NICU, this year he was teething so slept on my lap the whole concert with a fever.  He was a trooper.  Colter was able to do the rides by himself and had a blast (although he took flying helicopters and driving monster trucks very seriously).  This trip is always something we look forward to every year and this year did not disappoint.  There was even slip and slide action, I didn't get many good pics since I was inside with a sick little man.  Papa Bill would probably thank me for that.  :)

Next year, my baby, I bet brother will take you on a ride!

This is Joey's childhood best friend's son, watch out world...there's a new generation on our hands!

Doesn't Joey's mom, Carla, have the prettiest pond and flowers?!

What We've Been Up To

Hi there!  Time to brush the cobwebs off of the ol blog...these past few weeks seem like a blur!  Here's what we've been up to!

We tested out our first splash park in Billings...I think I enjoyed it more than the kids!  It was set up pretty nice, we will be going back for sure.

We've been having lots of fun in our own yard with Colter's birthday pool!  Levi would rather sit in the driveway and play with (and try to eat) rocks.  This was his first encounter with the hose, he was fascinated!

A few pics of the boys....those of you who know Colter, know his love for costumes and playing characters....even at the dentist!  No cavities by the way, yay!  Oh and have you ever heard of a kid who throws a fit because he doesn't want to leave the dentist?!  Ya, Colter did that.

We went to Dinosaur Quest this past weekend.  It was really fun!  The first half had very life like dinosaurs that moved and made sounds and the second half was filled with bounce houses, arts & crafts, science projects, face painting, and dinosaur riding.  Colter had a lot of fun and Levi got a good nap in the stroller.

After Dinosaur Quest, Joey's sister came over and took a few family pictures.  Colter willingly washed the face paint off his face AND both boys are looking.  We'll call that a win!  Winston, showing off his agility lol!  I was testing shutter speed on my camera.  :)

We met our friends who were passing through at the zoo, we got to meet their handsome new addition lil Mr. B and of course big brother K was so adorable!  We had a short but sweet little visit.  The tigers put on a show....but the bears were lazy so we didn't see much of them.

And finally, just a few pictures from home yesterday evening.  Hope you guys are having a great summer!!
